Individual Therapy

In individual therapy we collaborate on goals to bring about the changes that lead you to a more fulfilling life.  Your goal may include targeting specific reduction of symptoms or behaviors that are troubling you.  But it also may mean that you enter therapy because you need a supportive anchor while going through a transition or challenging time. Sessions can focus on specific current stressors and how to better view and navigate those stressors more manageably. We can work together to grow your individual authentic voice so that you can feel less shaky and are more confident during life's upheavals.

Individual therapy also provides the opportunity to heal childhood wounds that may still leave it's impact on you today. And for many of us who have felt unseen or isolated, the developing clinician-client relationship is part of the therapeutic process that leads to feelings of connectedness and less isolation. It is a building block to help you develop a deeper relationship with yourself and with others.  

In our sessions together we will navigate the journey of balancing life's demands and calming inner turmoil with the skills of self-compassion and mindfulness. I would be honored to begin that journey with you.
